Managing Routes
A route defines a path between two cities â it does not include a date or bus. Routes are the templates you reuse when creating schedules.
Go to Sidebar â Routes to manage them.
Adding a routeâ
Click + Add Route. A form appears with the following fields:
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Source | â | Departure city (e.g. Kathmandu) |
| Destination | â | Arrival city (e.g. Pokhara) |
| Duration (hrs) | Optional | Estimated travel time in hours (e.g. 7 or 7.5) â enter in hours, stored in minutes internally. Hint: ā¤
⤍āĨā¤Žā¤žā¤¨ā¤ŋ⤤ ā¤¯ā¤žā¤¤āĨā¤°ā¤ž ā¤¸ā¤Žā¤¯ (ā¤ā¤ŖāĨā¤ā¤žā¤Žā¤ž) |
| Fare (NPR) | Optional | Default fare suggestion â can be overridden per schedule |
| Stops | Optional | Intermediate stops along the route (e.g. Mugling, Damauli) |
| Distance (km) | Optional | Approximate route distance |
| Description | Optional | Any notes about the route |
Click Save Route.
The duration you enter here appears on bus cards in search results as the travel time (e.g. "7h 30m"). Fill it in accurately â passengers rely on it for planning.
Editing a routeâ
Click the pencil icon on any route card to update its details. Changes apply to new schedules; existing schedules keep their own copy of the route data.
Deleting a routeâ
Routes that are already assigned to existing schedules cannot be deleted. Remove all associated schedules first, or simply leave the route â unused routes have no effect.
Route listâ
The route list shows all your defined routes with:
- Source â Destination
- Estimated duration
