Managing Buses

Your fleet is managed under Sidebar → Buses.


Adding a bus

Click + Add Bus. A 3-step modal opens.

Step 1 — Bus Details

Click Next → Seat Layout to proceed.

Step 2 — Seat Layout

Design the interior layout of your bus:

Right columnsSeats per row on the right side of the aisle (1–3)

A live preview of the seat map updates as you change these settings. Verify the layout looks correct before saving.

Common layouts
  • Standard bus: left 2, right 2, ~10 rows = 40 seats
  • Sofa/Tourist bus: left 2, right 1, ~9 rows = 27 seats
  • Micro bus: left 2, right 1, ~5 rows = 15 seats

Click Save Bus to create the bus. The modal automatically advances to Step 3 — Photos.

Step 3 — Photos

Add up to 6 photos of the bus. Passengers see these in the search results gallery.

  • Click Add Photo and pick a JPG or PNG image.
  • Hover over a photo thumbnail and click the to remove it.
  • Click Done when finished (or skip — photos are optional).

Editing a bus

Click the pencil icon on any bus card to reopen the 3-step modal pre-filled with existing data.

  • Step 1 & 2 let you update name, registration, layout, amenities, etc.
  • Step 3 lets you add or delete photos at any time.
caution

Changing the seat layout of a bus that already has active bookings may cause seat-numbering mismatches. Only update layouts for buses with no upcoming bookings, or create a new bus entry instead.

Deleting a bus

Buses cannot be deleted if they are assigned to any past or future schedule. Mark them as Inactive instead to hide them from new schedules.


Bus cards on the fleet list

Each card shows:

  • Bus name, registration, and category badge
  • Total seat count
  • Photo count badge (📷 N photos)
  • Active/Inactive status pill
  • Edit button
