Making a Payment

The payment page shows a summary of your booking and lets you choose how to pay.


Booking summary

Before paying, review:

  • Route — source → destination
  • Travel date — in BS and AD
  • Bus name and type
  • Operator
  • Seat number(s)
  • Passenger name(s)
  • Total amount — fare × number of seats

Payment methods

eSewa

Nepal's most widely used digital wallet.

  1. Select eSewa and click the pay button.
  2. You are redirected to the eSewa payment page.
  3. Log in to your eSewa account and confirm the payment.
  4. You are automatically returned to Shubha Yatra and your ticket is confirmed.

Khalti

Another popular Nepal digital wallet.

  1. Select Khalti and click the pay button.
  2. You are redirected to Khalti checkout.
  3. Complete the payment with your Khalti PIN or mobile banking.
  4. You are returned to Shubha Yatra with a confirmed booking.

Credit / Debit Card

Pay directly with a Visa or Mastercard.

  1. Select Credit/Debit Card.
  2. Enter:
    • Cardholder Name
    • Card Number
    • Expiry Date
    • CVV
  3. Click Pay NPR [amount].

Bank Transfer

For passengers who prefer to pay directly via bank.

  1. Select Bank Transfer and click Confirm & Get Bank Details.
  2. The booking is created and bank account details are shown on screen.
  3. Transfer the exact amount to the given account.
  4. Your ticket will be confirmed once the operator marks the payment as received.
caution

Bank transfer bookings are not automatically confirmed. The operator must manually verify the payment. Allow up to a few hours during business days.


After payment

Once payment is successful:

  1. Your booking status changes to Confirmed.
  2. A confirmation email is sent to the email address you entered.
  3. You are taken to the Ticket page where you can view and download your QR-code ticket.
  4. The ticket also appears in My Bookings.

Payment failed?

If your payment fails or is cancelled:

  • You will be redirected to a Payment Failed page.
  • Your seats are released back to available.
  • Try again from the search results — no charge was made.

If money was deducted from your eSewa/Khalti wallet but the booking shows as failed, contact our support at support@shubha-yatra.com with your transaction reference number. Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days.
