Approving Bus Operators
When a new bus company registers on Shubha Yatra, their account starts in Pending status and is invisible to passengers. An admin must review and approve it.
Reviewing a pending application
Go to Sidebar → Providers. Pending operators are shown at the top with a yellow Pending badge.
Click on an operator to see their full details:
- Company name and registration number
- Contact name, email, phone
- Address
- Registration date
- Uploaded documents
Checking documents
On the Providers detail page, you can see which documents have been uploaded. Click any file link to open the document in a new tab.
Documents to check:
- ✅ Company Registration Certificate
- ✅ PAN / VAT Certificate
- ✅ Vehicle Registration
- ✅ Route Permit
- ✅ Insurance Certificate
Approving an operator
Click the Approve button. The operator receives an email notification and their account becomes active immediately. They can now add buses, routes, and schedules.
Rejecting an application
Click Reject. The operator receives an email explaining that their application was not approved. They can re-apply by contacting support.
Before rejecting, consider messaging the operator (via the platform messaging system or email) to ask for missing documents or clarifications. Rejection is final in the current flow.
Suspending an active operator
To suspend a previously approved operator (e.g. for policy violations):
- Go to Providers and find their account.
- Click Suspend Account.
- Their schedules are hidden from passengers and they cannot log in.
To reinstate, click Reactivate.
Providers list
The providers table shows all operators with:
- Company name
- Approval status (Pending / Active / Suspended)
- Number of buses, routes, and schedules
- Total bookings and revenue
- Join date
- Quick Approve / Reject / Suspend actions
